Vapor Barriers

Vapor Barriers resist the diffusion of moisture or harmful chemical vapors through floor or ceilings of your building.  MPC will design, fabricate, and install your vapor barrier to protect your building from condensation damage, air leakage through the envelope, or to maintain your interior humidification.

Featured Installation: Whiteman Air Force Base in Whiteman, Missouri

When the Air Force Base in Whiteman, Missouri executed a major overhaul of one of its buildings, they called upon MPC to retrofit the facility with a custom liner. The area was subject to rising subterranean vapors that could be harmful to the workers within the facility, so as an act of precaution, MPC designed and installed a vapor barrier using our impermeable PetroGard™ X.
